| The Barney Miller TV show ran from 1975 to 1982. It was about a squad room of detectives who gamble for a hobby, get hit on by anything in skirts, go to renaissance philosophy conventions for fun, and would really prefer to be writing (Det. Ron Harris). Mostl of it takes place in the squad room where people are brought in to complicate everything. The show had one of the most recognizable music intros on TV. |
