This is Gerrit Graham in Phantom of the Paradise playing Beef as he is being electrocuted by a lightning bolt that is fired by the Phantom in the lofters. This Brian De Palma rock opera was released in 1974 and is about a music composer named Winslow Leach that is ripped off by the producer of Death Records named Swan (Paul Williams). Winslow Leach then becomes the Phantom after a hideously disfiguring accident and signs a contract with Swan to complete his rock opera based on the life of Faust for a female singer named Phoenix. Unknown to the Phantom, Swan works for the devil and acquires his soul along with Phoenix's. When Swan plans to have Phoenix killed, the Phantom sets out to stop him in a final battle for all their souls at the opening of the Paradise night club.
