| Four older women, all Chinese immigrants living in San Francisco, meet regularly to play mah-jong, eat, and tell stories. Each of these women have adult Chinese-American daughters. The film reveals the hidden pasts of the older women and explores cultural conflict and the relationships between mothers and daughters. The film is structured as a series of vignettes told from the perspectives of the different women. |

In this episode, Dr. Dave Malucci becomes a regular. Greene's father gets lost after arriving in Chicago from San Diego. Kovac and Weaver try to save a rape victim. Lucy is reluctant to release the leader of a choir that has been injured in a bus accident and Finch tests a teenager for drugs. |

The earth has been at war with an alien force for over a decade. Spencer Olham (Gary Sinise) is a lauded government scientist whose latest work promises to save the planet. But suddenly he is accused of being an alien spy, and becomes the subject of a nationwide manhunt. Olham must prove his identity to his wife (Madeleine Stowe), and to the secret police in time to help mankind. |

She persuades Marissa Cooper to continue her role as social chair despite Marissa's tarnished reputation after overdosing on painkillers. She later returns to have a meeting with Kirsten , Sandy and Ryan, after Ryan reads Oliver Trask's files in the file storage room.
