| A group of bikers, which includes some of the survivors from the original film, embark on a journey by bus to a biker race near the desert of the infamous incidents. However, because of a mistake they are late and decide to take a shortcut through the desert. Halfway through the desert the bus breaks down. While trying to repair the bus, some of the group wander off, and wind up in the traps of the survivors of the mutant family from the first movie. |

Parker Lewis is a character similar to Ferris Bueller. His motto is, "Not a problem," nothing is impossible. His prime concern is achieving and maintaining coolness during the turbulent years of puberty. However, their efforts keep being thwarted by is sister, and principal Grace Musso (Melanie Chartoff). With cartoon-like special effects and camera trickery, an episode regularly contains more or less subtle references to movies, politics, and celebrities. In this episode, Ms. Donnely resigns when her patience slowly dwindles after covering for Parker all the time and Parker has to try to get her to return to teaching.

Wade Anders (George Hamilton) is the host of a popular television show. Budd Clarke was the one who was originally suppose to be the host of the show but Anders did a hatchet job on him and got it. Clarke discovers that Anders once did a porno movie with an underage actress and is threatening to expose this unless Anders resigns. Anders then doctors some cigarettes and Clarke smokes them and dies. Anders then steals the evidence that Clarke had on him. Columbo (Peter Falk) then comes in to investigate.

In the episode "The Breakdown (Part Two)," Larry sleeps with Beverly. Afterwards, they both agree that it was a mistake to sleep together. |

The man is the President of the US (Gene Hackman) and it gets covered up. When Whitney learns how corrupt the President is he decides to play mind games with him and the others, but is hunted by them at the same time. |

In the first season/day, he had to deal with assassination attempts on a presidential candidate and his daughter's disappearance. In the second season/day (the time of this writing) he has to track down and stop a massive nuclear weapon from destroying Los Angeles. Meanwhile, his daughter is on a chase of her own. - Sherry Palmer was married to Senator David Palmer. She covered up their son Keith's accidental killing of the rapist. Between Day 1 and Day 2, the Palmers divorced. In the third season, she was shot dead (?) by Milliken's wife Julia.

In this episode, a janitor was forced twenty years earlier to give up his dreams of becoming a singer. Reggie discovers that he could have had an audition with Motown records, but it was blocked by his brother Martin for selfish reasons. Now Martin is in trouble, and Tess has to convince Reggie to help.
