Jackie Brown is 44, and a lowly-paid airline stewardess for a Mexican airline. She is also a money courier for a small arms dealer by the unlikely name of Ordell Robbie (Samuel L. Jackson). Jackie is busted for carrying $50,000 in cash into the country by a miscast Michael Keaton as an ATF officer, and she agrees to assist the police with their efforts to bust Ordell. At least that what she says to them. You see, Ordell has $500,000 stashed away in Mexico, and Jackie has a plan which would see her pocket the cash, and escape from her current life, with the help of Max Cherry. - The public defender is for Jackie Brown when she gets busted. She wants Jackie to make a deal with the cops, but Jackie keeps quiet. |

When the government reveals that two comets are on a direct collision course for earth, humanity prepares for mass destruction and possible extinction. A team of astronauts plans to vaporize the comets with nuclear weapons; meanwhile, society constructs a vast underground civilization capable of supporting one million people, the hope being that humanity can salvage a remnant of itself and repopulate the earth after the comets wipe out everything on the surface. - Vicky Hotchner is Sarah's (Leelee Sobieski) mother. Leo Biederman (Elijah Wood) marries Sarah to try to get her to a shelter, but Vicky gives Sarah her youngest child (a baby) in the middle of a packed highway just before the Tsunami hits. Vicky is presumed killed with everybody else. |

This sc-fi show is about FBI Agents Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson). Mulder is a "believer" in the paranormal. Scully is a medical doctor who believes only in cold hard scientific fact. Together they've been assigned to "The X-Files", a division exploring all the "strange" cases that fall to the FBI. In Essence: Part 1, Mulder and Doggett investigate a genetics lab that's experimenting with alien impregnation and the alien replicants are after Scully. In Empedocles, Agent Reyes and Mulder investige a killer's connection to the unsolved murder of Doggett's son, but find no connection. |

Lt. Cmdr. Harmon Rabb is an ex-F-14 Tomcat fighter pilot that is forced to change careers and joins the Navy’s Judge Advocate General (JAG) Corps. He's assisted by fellow lawyer, Lt. Sarah “Mac” MacKenzie (Catherine Bell), and other staff. Rabb believing his father is still alive after being shot down in North Vietnam, also searches to find him. In this episode, Mac's psychic vision talents come into play when a female Naval officer is found with her throat slashed in a local park. What originally seems like an open and shut case becomes much more that leads a possible terrorist plot in Russia to steal nuclear weapons. |

In this episode, Atkins is reunited with a Russian agent and an American double agent from his past when the team attempts to prevent poisoned money from reaching wide circulation. |

In this episode, the Ice Truck Killer strikes again and new homicide officer Debra is assigned the case, but she gets reprimanded for violating the chain of command; flashbacks offer insight into Dexter's homicidal tendencies and take him back to his first time "taking out the garbage"; Doakes gets on the bad side of a drug kingpin. - The night-shift nurse was in the flashback of Dexter's first kill. She was looking after Harry Morgan and was overdosing him. Dex disposed of her and Harry went on to live another year now that he was receiving proper dosages. |
